This
kerupuk is really not wet because of water but it is called Kerupuk Basah. And
if you hear the word "kerupuk" in your head is really kerupuk, but
not for Kerupuk Basah. Although this culinary is typical of Kapuas upstream,
but do not worry almost in every area in West Kalimantan there are those who
sell it especially Jongkong.
Culinary
typical Kapuas Hulu whose taste is similar to Pempek Palembang is very enjoyed
by local residents and also become a culinary icon of West Kalimantan is worthy
of calculation as a tourist attraction. The Kerupuk Basah shape is elongated
elongated with an average length of 15-25 cm with a diameter of 2-3 cm with a
price range between Rp 10.000, - s / d 15.000, -.
The
basic ingredients use Freshwater fish. Putussibau City in West Kalimantan is
the largest freshwater producing area in West Kalimantan. There are two types
of fish that serve as the basic ingredients of making this Kerupuk Basah,
namely Toman Fish and Fish belida. I have tried many of these Kerupuk Basah in
the Jongkong area, and Alhamdulillah is really delicious that tastes like
Siomay. But this Kerupuk Basah has fish flesh in it and when people try it will
get a little fat Fish in this Kerupuk Basah, which makes everyone will be
addicted when trying it. I who live in Kapuas Hulu area are proud of this
culinary in Kapuas Hulu, although there are still culinary-culinary besides Kerupuk
Basah. Hopefully with this culinary will be the attraction for all people amen
