About me

Hello everybody, let me introduce my self. My complete name is Melati Christy Butar-Butar. My nickname is Melati. But you can call me Mbak Mel or Melati, but don’t call me Butar-Butar because that’s Marga in Batak ethnic. I was born on Januari 16, 2000 at Pahauman. I live at Pontianak and my adress is Keranji Paidang, pahauman district, landak regency. My mother came from Central Java and my father came from North Sumatra.

Do you know, in home my family use four language, there are Dayak language, Java language, Batak language and Indonesia. But we often use Dayak language. This is funny, isn’t it??? You know why, because My parent not Dayak people. I can speak Dayak language and Indonesia.

I have two sisters, My first sister is Dahlia Christiana Butar-Butar. She is a teacher in Junior high school. She has a daugther and she is a cheery and diligent. My second sister is Elisabeth Puspa Sari Butar-Butar. She is a teacher in Senior high school. She is a simple and discipline. You know, my second sister study at Tanjungpura university, majoring in accounting, same with me.

I like playing guitar and keyboard so much, because I’m happy. I can play the guitar since in Junior high school and play keyboard since senior high school. I am a guitarist and keyboardist in my church, GKE Keranji Paidang. I love music very much. I think, we can convey our feeling through music and song. Yup, We can say that “our expression. Music and Song born from our soul and our heart. That’s is can be a medicine for people.

And other hobby is playing basketball. I like basketball since Junior high school. I start to follow extracurricular in my school. I started join with basketball team in Senior high school. My name of team is Vegasus until now. Time by time, We be a winner in some compettion, like Kalumi’s basketball competition and Ngabang’s basketball competition. And therefore, I’m very glad.

I very like watch korean drama hehehe.... Even ussually I watch korean drama until dawn, Oh My God, It’s amazing. You know, The Korean actor is very handsome, one of them is Lee Joong Suk, I love him So much.. I started to like him when he play in the Doctor’s straange drama. Really make me Baper wkwkwk... In addition I also like kpop. Initially I didn’t like kpop, but after I watch the produce 101 I so love it. I very fond of the boyband wanna one especially Kang Daniel. He is the winner of the produce 101.
