Hallo the tourists… At this time I will tell you the places you must visit when you visit to Pontianak. We can not deny that our country, Indonesia is very rich in tribes, cultures, customs, and natural wealth of Indonesia is filled with flora and fauna are protected. Province Museum of West Kalimantan was established since 1974 by Departement of Education and Culture of West Kalimantan Province through rehabilitation and museum enlargement project. Its function was legitimated in October 4^th, 1993 by General Director of Education and Culture Departement. It has been open for public visitors since legitimating. The point of view of Museum West Kalimantan is as an information District Culture Center of West Kalimantan. And the purpose is first, to conserve and evolve the regional culture of West Kalimantan to strengthen the national characters and personalities, also culture defense. Second, to improve the cultural educative service for visitors as the inspiration and interactive media in educational media (non formal study) and tourism spot.

1.       The Equator Monument (Tugu Khatulistiwa)

Equator monument is a tourist attraction that is well known by the public, not only in Indonesia, but also foreign tourists. Equator monument has become one of the main tourist icons that want to be visited by everyone who bekunjung in Pontianak City. 2.       Kapuas Square Park (Taman Alun-alun Kapuas)

3.       Digulis Park (Taman Digulis)
